ASEM is a co-creation between The Hive SEA and SIDEC (Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation) focused on equipping the next generation of engineers and innovators with cutting edge skills and industry knowledge in the Semiconductor and AI fields.

At inception, The Hive formed the team and brought SIDEC as a partner. The Hive also worked closely with the team, the Selangor state government and industry partners to establish a clear vision for the school.

Via The Hive’s network, ASEM secured partnerships including from universities such as Sunway University, UPM, Unisel, and Purdue University. 

ASEM is now Malaysia's leading semiconductor academy, securing contracts from various state agencies and the Ministry of Economy. 

In just over a year, Bluechip Ventures is finalizing terms to buy out The Hive’s shares, delivering a strong return on investment.
